Who Qualifies for the Program?
You may be eligible if:
- You are a California resident
- Your vehicle was manufactured between 1993 and 2019, or is an older car that has been retrofitted to use R-134a refrigerant
- Your vehicle's A/C system is leaking or not cooling properly due to refrigerant loss
- You meet income eligibility guidelines, including participation in Medi-Cal, CalFresh, or other qualifying assistance programs
